Swedish team: «I play a lot of Pokémon go but didn’t manage to catch any in Kazan»

Next up are the four from Sweden who have travelled to the IOI with one great aim - a successful performance. We interviewed Joakim Blikstad, David Wärn, Karl Lundstig and Frederik Hernqvist.

- Do you have any experience of participation in international Olympiads like this?

Joakim: - We all took part in the IOI a year ago and I won a silver medal!

Karl: - I tried for bronze but didn’t manage it. So I’ve here to make up for the loss. Anyway, I will try to do my best, but stay realistic as well.

- What are your hobbies apart from IT?

Joakim: - I like sailing - I’ve even taken part in a sailing championship.

David: - I play a lot of “Pokémon Go” but didn’t manage to catch any in Kazan.

- What are your expectations of this Olympiad? What are your aims here?

Frederik: - We expect the tasks to be as difficult as ever, but solvable of course.

David: - To become the best Scandinavian team or at least do better than the Norwegians!
