“This year there will be a record number of countries competing for prizes at the Olympiad,” says Dilyara Muravyeva, Programme Committee member and Director of Pre-university Education at KFU. “It will be nice for the teams to see their flag during the competition, while at the same time understanding how important their efforts are to their country. Meanwhile an official ceremony for raising the flags of Russia, Tatarstan and the Olympiad will take place on 13 August as part of the IOI 2016 Opening Ceremony.”
Kazan is soon set to welcome 85 teams from 89 countries.
