The Jordanian team is very happy to have arrived in Kazan.
Amal Taha: This Olympiad has given me an invaluable experience. I’m very happy that I’ve come here. I was a little bit disappointed after contest round 1 as my score wasn’t very high – I hope that in round 2 I’ll be able to solve more tasks. We haven’t been here long, but we’ve already managed to see Bolgar and walk around the Kremlin. It’s a wonderful place! Incidentally, the Universiade Village where we are staying is also lovely – I like it here.
Mohammad Abuejheisen: The tasks we were given in contest 1 were very interesting – I think the ones in contest 2 will be even more so. During the competition our whole team wears t-shirts with the flag of our country – that’s our good-luck charm. I’m very happy I cam to Kazan – I’m interested in Tatar culture and I particularly enjoy Tatar music. And when we went around the Kremlin I was really impressed by the "Kul Sharif" Mosque.
